Appreciation in this issue
This book not only provides an easy to understand interpretation of Confucian classics, but also helps us find the cultural matrix and cultural confidence. Regarding the reading order of the "Four Books", Zhu Xi once said: "First read the" Great Learning "to determine its scale; second read the" Analects "to determine its essence; second read the" Mencius "to observe its development; second read the" Doctrine of the Mean "to explore the subtleties of the ancients." This shows the important position of the "Great Learning" and "Doctrine of the Mean" in Confucian classics. Zengzi's "Great Learning" marked the entrance to Confucianism, while Zisi's "The Doctrine of the Mean" reached the pinnacle of Confucianism.
From learning to practice, from self-cultivation to governance, from human nature to natural principles. After a long period of infiltration,Confucian classics have become an indispensable part of our traditional culture. For us lawyers, not only can we learn how to be objective, knowledgeable, sincere, and upright, but we can also find the direction we are pursuing and firmly establish our career goals.
Through this book sharing session, accompanied by Huashan's transparent writing,it feels like being in an era of flourishing Confucianism.Lawyers not only learned the classic ideas of Confucianism, but also were able to elevate and practice them in their future work, becoming better versions of themselves.
